I was skeptical at first about this kit solely for the clear parts this version comes with. But once I found out they're optional, I got this right away! The design is very intricate and stylish, and the proportions make it look tough and agile. Especially in the legs. Its shoulders and arms have great mobility, too, ass it can even cross its arms with enough patience! The biggest selling point besides its wide posability are its swords, Gerbera Straight and Tiger Pierce. Silver-plated they look like actual steel to the eye!
The Tactical Arms II-L is very versatile and stable, but makes the Astray itself very back-heavy. I keep mine in V-Form, as it distributes the weight the best. This is the most advanced MG I've done yet, and is a great display piece for... whatever! Just get it!!! (From old GP site by OZKai at Nov 2010)
this kit is great, it has good balance (for a kit of its weight) and some well done gimmicks (various armor parts open to reveal inner workings, metal piping, eyes and ball cockpit light up) but there are some flaws, for instance the handle for the bazooka sits on a very thin piece that is easy to break, and the beam saber holders/verniers on the backpack are also on small attachment points that can break. also the camera on the top of the head can come off pretty easy. Other than that its a great kit. wonderful for a fan of zeta era MS. (From old GP site by Anon at June 2013)
